Chris Wells began acquiring carpentry skills as a teenager. And he started his career as a home inspector, evaluating more than 3,000 structures—uncovering repair issues for San Francisco Bay Area homeowners.

In 1984, Chris became a licensed General Building Contractor and started Christopher Wells Construction. The company specializes in residential remodeling. Today, many San Francisco residents know that Christopher Wells Construction remodels high quality, custom homes. But few know that Chris sings opera.

Christopher Wells performs with the several small, local opera companies. His bass-baritone voice has been heard around the Bay Area in Verdi’s Rigoletto and La Traviata, and Pucchini’s Madame Butterfly and La Boheme, among many other well known operas.

Chris’ passion for opera may be a surprise, but not his company’s satisfaction ratings by customers. Christopher Wells Construction has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and nearly all clients surveyed by Diamond Certified would choose to work with Chris again.
